Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Webnaut, we pour significant resources, time, and creative energy into every project. To maintain the quality of our services and ensure fairness to all clients, we adhere to the following policy:

1. Project Deposits

  • Most projects require a non-refundable advance deposit (typically 30–50%) before work commences.
  • This deposit secures your spot in our workflow and covers initial research, strategy, and setup costs.
  • Deposits are non-refundable once the project kickoff meeting has occurred or work has begun.

2. Milestone Payments & Completed Work

  • For larger projects, payments are often tied to specific milestones (e.g., Design Approval, Beta Launch, Final Delivery).
  • Once a milestone is reviewed and approved by the client, the associated payment is non-refundable.
  • If a project is cancelled mid-way, the client is responsible for paying for all work completed up to the date of cancellation.

3. Monthly Recurring Services

For ongoing automation, maintenance, or consulting retainers:

  • Notice Period: Clients may cancel recurring services by providing at least 15 days' written notice before the next billing cycle.
  • No Partial Refunds: We do not offer prorated or partial refunds for the current billing month once it has started.
  • Future Billing: Cancellation will stop all future automated billing starting from the next cycle following the notice period.

4. Service Suspensions

Webnaut reserves the right to pause or suspend services (including hosting or API integrations) if payments are more than 7 days overdue. Services will be resumed once the outstanding balance is cleared.

5. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

  • We value open communication. If you have an issue with a charge, please contact us at webnaut.co@gmail.com first so we can resolve it.
  • Initiating a chargeback without prior contact is considered a breach of our Terms.
  • Webnaut reserves the right to immediately terminate all services and access to delivered systems in the event of a chargeback.
  • We may also pursue legal recovery actions or report the debt to collections.

6. Exceptions

Refunds may be granted at the sole discretion of Webnaut management in exceptional circumstances (e.g., if we are unable to fulfill the scope of work due to internal reasons). Any such refund will be minus any third-party transaction fees or costs already incurred.
